Ultra Raw Hard Wax Oil

Fiddes Ultra Raw Hard Wax Oil offers a dead flat-matt ‘raw timber’ effect, with minimal colour change to lighter timber species. Formulated to maintain the natural appearance of untreated wood, Ultra Raw Hard Wax Oil retains this lighter tone, counteracting the ‘wet look’ commonly associated with traditional oil, wax or resin based finishes. Note: It is most effective on lighter timber species. If working with darker species a test patch is recommended. A blend of natural oils and waxes offering exceptional durability and resistance for internal timber surfaces including floors, bench tops, furniture and areas subjected to a high degree of wear. Produces a quick drying, water repellent, tread-fast finish that will not peel or flake. Hard wax oil is easy to maintain and as a natural replenishable product it is easy to rejuvenate timber without sanding when required. Drying time under ideal conditions approximately 4 – 6 hours. Coverage approx. 20-24 sqm per litre. Test prior to application. **As Ultra Raw contains a degree of white pigment, it is recommended to test on darker timber species, over direct stains and against Timber Fillers prior to use to ensure you are happy with the result.  If filling is required, we recommend using Fiddes Filler Gel.
